My name is Matt Davis, and I'm a Lead Drupal Architect for Mediacurrent living in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.

As a full stack developer I try to learn laterally as much as possible, everything from Vagrant, Docker, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Akamai, ESI, Ruby, Java, PHP, Node, Angular, Ember, React, Polymer, Service Workers, Web Workers, and more. I like to dabble.

I spend a lot of my time working on progressively decoupled Drupal, primarily for certain high profile meteorological sites. I also try to contribute back to the open source community with code, community organizing, and knowledge sharing via writing and speaking.

Increasingly my Drupal 8 work is centered on the Decoupled Blocks module, which gives me the opportunity to work with a lot of different javascript frameworks, as well as some of the core Drupal initiatives.

In 2016 I've done some cool things! I was part of the ngconf keynote, which you can watch in its entirety here or jump to my part here. I was the track lead for Coding & Development at DrupalCon New Orleans, and also spoke about progressive decoupling there.
